The Pomegranate Guesthouse is a uniquely decorated Swabian farmhouse with a special atmosphere, located in the heart of Balatoncsicsó. Suitable for families with small children: a crib, baby bath, high chair, etc., can be provided upon request. The attic features an indoor playroom with a corn sandbox, wooden train set, baby kitchen, and natural materials.

The most important rooms are on the ground floor: (convertible) living room, kitchen, one bedroom, and a bathroom with a shower. The attic hosts a spacious bedroom with a double bed. The herb garden and covered terrace invite for grilling. You can drive into the garden by car, and the covered terrace can accommodate bicycles. In the herb garden, you’ll find fresh lavender, rosemary, thyme, sage, and peppermint.

The kitchen is a unique feature of the house: it used to have an open chimney, like other kitchens in the village, where cooking was done over an open fire, and smoke escaped through a chimney-shaped opening. While other houses in the village have been renovated, the chimney is still visible on the kitchen ceiling here. The thick natural stone walls keep the house cool throughout the summer.

Each room is accessible from the covered veranda, which may pose a slight challenge in the winter. Due to its special atmosphere, the house is recommended for those who love history and the Balaton Uplands.
